How do I sign in?

Firooze uses passwordless sign-in. Enter your email address and we'll send you a 6-digit code. Enter the code in the app to log in. No password to remember.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app → Profile (bottom-right) → Settings (gear icon, top-right) → scroll to Delete Account. All your data — profile, photos, messages — is permanently removed within 30 days.

How do I cancel or get a refund for a Gem purchase?

Firooze Gem packs are consumable, one-time purchases (not subscriptions) — there's nothing to cancel. For refunds, contact Apple directly: open the App Store on your iPhone → tap your profile → Purchase History → tap the purchase → Report a Problem. Apple handles all refunds.

How do I report someone?

Tap any user's profile → three-dot menu (top-right) → Report. Select a reason and add details. We review every report within 24 hours.

How do I block someone?

Tap their profile → three-dot menu → Block. They'll never appear in your discovery again, and you'll never appear in theirs. You can manage blocked users in Settings.

I'm not seeing many matches — what can I do?

• Add more photos. Profiles with 3 photos get significantly more attention than 1-photo profiles.
• Fill in your prompts. Profiles with prompt answers receive 60% more replies.
• Widen your filters. Tap the filter icon on the deck and increase the distance or age range.
• Verify your photos. Verified profiles (blue checkmark) build trust and get more matches.

How does photo verification work?

Tap your profile → tap your main photo → choose Verify. Take a quick selfie. Our system matches it to your existing profile photos. If it's a match, you get a blue checkmark on your profile. The selfie isn't shown to anyone — it's only used for verification.

What's the difference between public and private photos?

Public photos are visible to anyone you might match with. The first one is your main profile photo. Private photos are hidden by default. They only become visible to a match after both of you opt-in to share private photos in the chat.

How does the daily like limit work?

Free users get 8 likes per day. This includes both regular likes (heart) and prompt-replies (Reply on a prompt). The counter resets at midnight UTC. Firooze Gem subscribers get unlimited likes.

How do I pause my account?

Profile → Settings → Pause Account. While paused, you don't appear in anyone's deck and others don't appear in yours, but your existing chats remain accessible. Resume any time by toggling the same setting.

I'm having a technical issue — what should I do?
